ChainOpera is co-founded by Prof. Salman Avestimehr and Dr. Aiden He, both with deep expertise at the intersection of AI and decentralized systems. Prof. Avestimehr is a Dean’s Professor at USC, Director of the USC–Amazon Center on Trustworthy AI, and an IEEE Fellow recognized for contributions to AI and distributed computation. Dr. He brings extensive R&D leadership from Meta, Google, AWS, and Tencent, and has been deeply involved in AI and Web3 innovation. Together, they also co-founded TensorOpera and FedML, leaders in GenAI model services and AI agent deployment.
The broader founding team includes talent from UC Berkeley, Stanford, USC, MIT, Tsinghua, Google, Amazon, Tencent, Meta, and Apple. With members across the US, Asia, and Europe, ChainOpera is building a global community-driven effort toward a people-owned intelligence future.
